SUNDAY BUS SERVICES
Loss Cut In Month It was too early to make a sound judgment, but the figures were promising, said Mr E J. Bradshaw, reporting to the Christchurch Transport Board yesterday on the reduced Sunday service. In the first four weeks of the new time-table the average passenger revenue was £238 and operating expenses were £364, Mr Bradshaw said. On an average of 52 Sundays on the old time-table, revenue was £317 and expenses were £578.
This showed that there had been a reduction of £135 in the loss per Sunday.
