Wind Prevents Salvage
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, March 29. Strong westerly winds off Cape Runaway have prevented attempts to re-float the trawler Sea Star, which had to be beached early on Saturday morning when she sprang a leak. A salvage gang under Captain W. Dunsford, of Auckland, and another Gisborne fishing vessel, the Mercury Belle, are standing by for favourable conditions so that the Sea Star can be re-floated.
Mr W. I. Hooker, lecturer in law at Canterbury University, will be an exchange lecturer at the University of Nottingham for a year from August, 1966.
