STILL A MEMBER
(New Zealand Press Association)
WELLINGTON, March 29.
As Indonesia has not withdrawn from the Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East, she must still be considered a member. The E.C.A.F.E. executive secretary. U Nyun, said this at a press conference at the end of the twenty-first session of E.C.A.F.E. in Wellington today.
Indonesia did not send a delegation to the fort-night-long session. U Nyun—replying to a question—said Indonesia was like a member of a club.
“As such, we cannot ask if she still wants to be a member.
“Since there has been no official withdrawal, Indonesia must still be considered as a member.”
