Offered on account of the estate of Beatrice Margaret Thompson, a small cottage on a section of 14 perches at 9 Devon street, Sydenham, was sold for £B5O at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr .1. Dyer. The cottage has three bedrooms. two living-rooms, kitchenette, bathroom and laundry. A house on the corner of Jolie street and Cross street, Akaroa, was passed in at £3600. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The house has a lounge, three bedrooms, breakfastroom, laundry, - kitchenette, and bathroom. Outbuildings on the section of one rood 39 perches include a garage and a room.
A six-roomed house on a section of a quarter of an acre at 11 Baretta street, Spreydon, was passed in at £l3OO. The Government valuation is £1675. The auctioneer was Mr R. R. Livingstone.
