Air Marshal Sir Edouard Grundy, controller of guided weapons and electronics in the British Ministry of Aviation, will arrive in Wellington tomorrow for talks with the Government.—(P. A.) Mr Boris Dorofeev, who has been appointed Soviet Minister Plenipotentiary to New Zealand, will arrive in Wellington today to take up his new post.—(P. A.) The Canterbury University Council yesterday congratulated Dr. F. J. Llewellyn on his appointment as Vice-chan-cellor of the University of Exeter. The Chancellor (Mr C. H. Perkins) praised Dr. Llewellyn’s contributions as former Vice-chancellor of the University of Canterbury and chairman of the University Grants Committee.
Dr. R. A. M. Gregson, of the Canterbury University psychology department, will attend the Australian Psychological Society conference in August, and Dr. P. J. Lawrence. reader in education, will attend a research conference on learning and educational processes at Stanford University in June and July and also visit the Universities of California and Illinois. The Australian Trade Commissioner (Mr M. G. B. Coultas) is to visit Greymouth from March 30 to April 1.
