PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL SALE OF LAND-CENTAURUS ROAD IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Christchurch City Council, at a Special Meeting held in the City Council Chamber, 194 Manchester street, at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the lt7h day of March, 1965, passed the following resolution: “In pursuance of the powers vested in it by Section 150 of the Municipal Corporatinos Act. 1954, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to sell by private treaty Lots 9 and 10 D.P. 13244 and Lot 3 D.P. 12029, Part R.S. 706. containing an area of 1 rood 26 perches, being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 501 Folio 129.” (This refers to a section of land between Centaurus road and Palatine terrace which the Council proposes to sell to the Heathcote County Council.) Flay, will be held on Monday, April 26, 1965, and that the poll for such election will close at 4.30 p.m. on that day. The Member, not being a person in the employment of the Council, to be elected by the graduates of the University of New Zealand and of the University of Canterbury whose names are on the books of the College, and the holders of diplomas granted by the College.
