DOG PARKS.—Mr Stanley Stevens, who formerly had a butcher’s shop in Colombo street, Christchurch, has installed a new facility outside his butcher’s shop in Newport in the Isle of Wight—two dog chains with collar clips which are called “dog parks.” A Southampton newspaper says that they not only ensure a higher standard of hygiene, but also mean that Fido waits until he gets home before he tucks into the meat.
