Tossed A Coin After Play-Off

(N.Z. P. A.-Reuter— Copyright) ROTTERDAM, Mar. 25. A toss of a coin put Liverpool into the semi-final of the European Cup in Rotterdam last night. Liverpool and Cologne were level, 2-2, after extra time in tonight’s quarterfinal play-off and Liverpool won the toss immediately afterwards to qualify to meet the holders, Inter-Milan in the semi-final.

Both the previous legs had ended in a nil-all draw. There were two other international matches tonight. In Paris, Austria beat France. 2-1, and in Dublin. Belgium beat the Republic of Ireland, 2-0, in a friendly match.
