WALK IN SPACE

Cosmonaut Unharmed (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MOSCOW, March 25. The first man to walk in space returned to earth with no noticeable changes in his physical condition, Soviet doctors said today. They also said data from the flight showed that the cosmonaut, Alexei Leonov, suffered no muscle strain during his 10-minute tumble in the cosmos.

The three medical specialists disclosed some of their findings in “Pravda.” “The first data has proven the general possibility of developing space suits with a self-contained life-support system, protecting the spacemen from vacuum, visible, ultra-violet and infra-red solar radiation,” they said.
