CABINET UPSET
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) THE HAGUE, March 1. Queen Juliana is today meeting political leaders in an attempt to settle the cabinet crisis caused by a dispute over commercial radio and television. The crisis was generally believed to have been caused by the popularity of commercial radio and television beamed from “pirate” stations in the North Sea. One of these, “TV North Sea,” was recently closed by the authorities. The other, the radio ship, Veronica, is still operating and is estimated to have the biggest audience in Holland. The Government has been under pressure to introduce commercial broadcasting in Holland. Of the five broadcasting corporations already in existence, four have religious and political affiliations.
