Charles, of New Zealand, is the top money-winner on the United States professional golf circuit, with earnings of 13,575 dollars in the five tournaments played so far this year. Almost half of Charles’s total, 8800 dollars, came from his victory in the Tucson open. Paul Harney, winner of the Los Angeles open last month, is second with 12,000 dollars, followed by Billy Casper (11,727), Rod Funseth (10,977), and George Knudson (10,825).
