AIRFIELD INJURY

Parachutist Accused (N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG, February 28. A holidaymaker, alleging he was injured by a falling parachutist at an air display, is suing the South African Minister of Defence for 100,000 rand. The case will be heard next month in the Rand Supreme Court. It is bring brought by Mr Ernst Eberhard Muller, a 23-year-old former economics student at Cologne University. He was holidaying in South Africa at the time of the incident. He alleges that a fractured skull and brain injuries he suffered when a parachutist of the South African Air Force fell on him ended his career as an economist. The Minister of Defence (Mr Jim Fouche) in a replying affidavit, has denied liability. He said it was “not in the Interest of State Security’’ to disclose how the accident happened .
