Spinner NoBalled
The Rlccarton off-spinner, E. R. Hlgnett, was no-balled twice by the square leg umpire, Mr L. C. Johnston, for bowling with an unfair action against Sydenham on Saturday. When Mr Johnston was asked If he had no-balled Hignett because he considered he was throwing, he replied that he would not describe It as throwing but as an “unfair action."
