MOHI TO PLAY FOR PAPANUI

The Canterbury and former South Island Rugby League forward, M. H. Mohi, will play for the Papanui Club next season. Mohi, who joined the Marist Club several years ago, has played 15 matches for Canterbury and three for South Island. Mohi made his debut for Canterbury in 1960. He played four games for his province that year, three in 1961 and 1962, four in 1963 and one (against Auckland) last season. He played in the 1962 and 1963 inter-island matches and for South Island against the 1963 South Africans. Injury and lack of fitness affected his play last year but if he can regain his form of two years ago he will adequately replace G. R. Cooper

■ in the Papanui pack. The addition of Mohi will mean that Papanui will have another strong pack this season although it has lost Cooper—who has retired—and G. C. ■ Blackler, who is in Australia.
