HOLD-UP IN HOTEL
No Arrest Yet
(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Feb. 22. The Napier police have not yet made an arrest in connexion with the attempted armed hold-up at a Napier Hotel on Saturday afternoon.
Detective-Sergeant H. Baldock said this afternoon that the police were still making inquiries into the incident at the Cabana Hotel in Shakespeare road. A man in the Napier Hospital, with three broken ribs, a pun’etured lung and head lacerations, has been questioned.
Napier police have appealed for information about a car which was driven away from the scene soon after the incident. The car was later found abandoned nearby.
Boy Found.—A nine-year-old bey, Bruce Forbes, of 50 Nicholas drive, who was reported to the police as missing from his home since 8 p.m. on Saturday, was found on the beach at New Brighton yesterday.
