Dark Seaman May Win Again Today

WESTPORT. The track will be in good order for the second day of the Westport Jockey Club's meeting today although it rained heavily yesterday morning. After his effortless win in the main event on Saturday. Dark Seaman is again expected to race well in the first leg of the double, the Robert Patterson Handicap. Morris Francis will be better suited by the mile journey and could be very hard to beat. Foxy Boy might improve on his unimpressive showing of Saturday, and Totara Lad is bound to be solidly backed. The North Island trio, Carnbeg, Lady Dilemma and Valbaean will form a strong bracket in the second leg, the Arthur Clouston Hack Handicap. The hardest for the stablemates to beat might be Chari-
