CARPET ORDER

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 16. Another big export order for the East involving a major international hotel has been won by a New Zealand firm.

Felt and Textiles of New Zealand, Ltd., has won a new contract for recarpeting the Merlin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, premier hotel of Malaysia, which is renovating and extending its accommodation.

The New Zealand company will recarpet the 200 bedrooms and corridors with 7600 yards of pure wool, heavy quality carpet in a range of three stipple patterns.
