Rix-Trott, of 46 Derby street, Feilding, and George Stephen, only son of Mr and Mrs G. W. Boleyn, of Okain's Bay, Banks Peninsula. Gibbs—Leith: Mr and Mrs G. W. Leith, Benmore, Dipton, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their eldest daughter, Lorraine Joy, to Leonard Louis, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr L. L. Gibbs, Rangitata Island, South Canterbury. Gree.nfeild—Veitch: Mr and Mrs Roy Veitch, 35 Burnside crescent, Fendalton, have much pleasure in announcing the engagement of their elder daughter, Mary, to Bernard, only son of Mr and Mrs W. B. Greenfeild, Brighton, England. The wedding will take place shortly in London.

Newsom—Sundstrum: The engagement is announced between Sarah Elizabeth, daughter of Dr. F. A. Sundstrum and Mrs Eric Rutherford, Christchurch, to Peter Alick, third son of Mr and Mrs A. S. Newsom, of Bristol, England.
