NEW GUINEA DEATHS
(N.Z P A -Reuter —Copyright) PORT MORESBY, Feb. 16. Deaths in New Guinea’s Sepik district from an unknown virus disease similar to influenza have now reached 100, the territory's director of health, Dr. R. F. V. Scragg, said today. The disease broke out about four weeks ago in the Telefomin area of Sepik district, about 500 miles northwest of Port Moresby.
