DECISION RESERVED

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. The Court of Appeal reserved Its decision on whether the Auckland Education Board had exceeded its statutory powers in supplying schools in its area with books and equipment obtained from subsidised funds. The board appealed against a decision of Mr Justice Gresson, in the Supreme Court Auckland, who held that such action was beyond its statutory powers. Respondents in the case are Educational Aids and Services, Ltd., who claimed their business had been hard hit by the board's sales.
