Another Try
The Whangarei City Council is to submit to the College of Arms ideas for a coat of arms for the city. The college is to be' asked to embody these in a suitable design. Suggestions include a kiwi, the city war memorial, pohutukawa flowers and a
kauri. Designs previously submitted by the city council have not been acceptable to the college.
