New Purchase By Repco

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) SYDNEY, February 4. Directors of Repco, Ltd., Melbourne-based holding company, have announced the acquisition for cash of the issued shares of Hobourn Components (Aust.) Pty., Ltd., of Huntingdale, Victoria, a subsidiary of Thomas Tilling, Ltd., through the Hobourn Group, Ltd., of England. The Australian company manufactures steel lock washers and special engineering nuts and a range of low pressure oil pumps for the motor industry. The acquisition has been financed by a placement of Repco shares through Messrs J. B. Were and Son, Melbourne.
