Eight Bulls For N.Z.
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 4. New Zealand buyers bought eight bulls for £22,680 at the Aberdeen Angus sale in Perth, Scotland, this week. Last year New Zealanders bought 24 bulls for £31,122. Top quality bulls sold at high prices because of the demand from the export trade, said the secretary of the breed society (Mr J. M. Jarvine). With the stringent health tests imposed by New Zealand the younger bulls had a better chance of passing the test. During the two-day auction 522 bulls were sold for £740,447 10s.
