TITLE-HOLDER REACHES FINAL.—The visiting English tennis player, Miss Rita Bentley, who won the New Zealand women’s championship last year, beating Miss E. Terry, of Waikato, in a semi-final at the national tournament at Wilding Park yesterday. The score was 6-1, 6-2. In the final, Miss Bentley will meet the winner of the other semifinal between Mrs R. Davy, of Canterbury, and Mrs E. Mitchell, of North Shore.
