Holiday Medical Aid

The St. John Ambulance Association in the 11 days between Christmas and January 4 received 1124 requests for assistance in locating doctors and dentists. People with requests for non-urgent assistance are asked to ring 78-879 and not 111. In a report yesterday the association was wrongly stated to have been the St. John Ambulance Brigade and the alternative telephone number for nonurgent requests was also wrongly! stated. The errors are regretted. ‘
