NEW YORK, Jan. 5
Indonesia’s United Nations representative, Mr L. N. Palar, prepared today to return to Djakarta to “talk out” with Government officials his country’s decision to withdraw from the United Nations. Meanwhile, he told reporters, he was in process of elosing down the Indonesian mission to the United Nations.
In Tokyo, the Japanese Prime Minister (Mr Eisaku Sato) sent President Sukarno a personal cable urging him to reconsider withdrawing from the United Nations.
