PUBLIC NOTICES AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL LIGHTING OF FIRES PUBLIC NOTICE Is given under Sections 20 and 21 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1955, that the lighting of fires in the open in the whole of the Amun County Area is prohibited. While this order Is In forre no person shall set on fire in the open air any trees or timber (whether standing or not), bracken, flax, gorse, broom, lupin, grass, stubble, or other plants whatsoever. or any debris from forest or land clearing operations or any other combustible material whatsoever except pursuant to a written permit. Applications for permits for the Culverden area should be made to H. C. Croft. Phone 112, Culverden. and applications for permits for the Waiau area should be made to A. H. Cook. 'Phone 12. Waiau.
