30m Tons Over 13 Years

Ten leading Japanese steel mills have reached agreement to import a record 30 million tons of Australian coking coal from the Moura mines in Queensland during the next 13 years. The Fuji Iron and Steel Company, one of the 10 firms, said a letter would be sent to the Thiess-Peabody-Mitsui, Ltd., an Australian-American-Japanese joint venture, confirming the agreement
