(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter) HALIFAX. Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, a town of" less than 4000 inhabitants, now boasts the largest and most modern groundfish processing plant in the world. The £2,660,000 home of Lunenburg Sea Products, Ltd., is working steadily to an annual production target of 18,000,000 pounds !of processed fish for the dinner plates of North America and the rest of the world. The Lunenburg operation makes a wide range of filleted, frozen and pre-cooked seafoods products. It is now developing a fish “sausage” which company officials claim cannot be distinguished from the finest pork equivalent.
