CAMPAIGN IN AUTUMN

Triple Derby Winner (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, Dec. 23. The New Zealand-bred triple Derby winner, Royal Sovereign, is to be set for a strenuous autumn programme his trainer, J. B. Page, announced today. Page said he had arranged the programme although Royal Sovereign had returned to work only a week ago. The colt will begin his autumn proframme with a run in a Flyng Handicap (6f.), at Canterbury on February 6.

After this run, Page will take the colt to Melbourne, where he will be given three races. His Melbourne programme will be the £3OOO St. George Stakes (9f.), at Caulfield, on February 20: the £12,000 Australian Cup (IM.), at Flemington, on March 8: and the £BOOO Queen Elizabeth Stakes dim.), weight-for-

age, at Flemington, on March 13. Page said Royal Sovereign had thrived during his summer spell. In the spring, Royal Sovereign equalled Tulloch's record in winning the A.J.C., Victoria, and Queensland Derbies.
