Taxi-Driver Killed

A Christchurch taxi-driver, who was changing a wheel

near the corner of Selwyn and Rosebery streets at 1.20 a.m. yesterday, was killed when hit by another car. He was; Stanley Percival Barnett, aged about 59, married, with a family of five, of 2 Whersteadc road. Mr Barnett suffered multiple injuries. He was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by a St. John ambulance, but was found to be dead when it arrived.
