Firmer Trend Shown By N.Z. Issues
New Zealand shares followed a firmer trend in yesterday’s trading while overseas issues eased. Second*line stocks featured among New Zealand rises. Kaiapoi Petone added Id more in sales at 7s 7d, with the notes 3d up at 6s 6d, while Ballins continued advancing to gain 3d to 13s. South British firmed 6d to 33s 6d and Wright Stephenson 3d to 37s 9d.
Colonial Sugar Refining lost more ground with a Is 9d drop to 58s 9d and Mount Isa fell 9d to 345.
