Seeded Pairs Bridge
Results of a seeded pairs match played at the Christchurch Contract Bridge Club were:—
North-south: L. Julian and K. W. Spence I, Mrs D. T. McCormick and Mrs H. Smart 2, Dr. J. P. McQuilkln and M. L. Shand 3. East-west: W. R. Dobson and A. Waddell 1, Mr and Mrs P. J. Richard 2. Mr and Mrs E. Richard 3.
Winners at the junior Christmas tournament were Mr and Mrs D. Malcolm. Mrs G. B. Gebbte and Mrs S. Munro.
Accepted.—The Canterbury Progress League last evening formally accepted the Estuary Development Committee as a committee of the league.
