Second “Win” In Court

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, Dec. 14. Tutira’s £12,000 lottery winner, Mr J. F. Prendergast, had another “win” in the Napier Magistrate’s Court today. Mr W. A. Harlow, S.M., agreed to remove a disqualification on Prendergast's driving. “But you can afford to obtain a chauffeur,” the Magistrate said. Prendergast (Mr T. D. Alty) was congratulated in court by Senior Sergeant R. D. L. Jones on his second big win in a week.
