The selectors of this team are Messrs G. W. Frampton and H Dowling. The itinerary for the tour is:—January 22-23: v. Balls For 2nd B Grade

After receiving opinions from nine clubs, the Canterbury Cricket Association's management committee decided last evening that, from next season, the use of four-piece balls would be extended to the second B grade. Four clubs were In favour of the balls being used in all second grades; four were not in favour of it extending to 2B and 2C; and one—High School Old Boys—suggested only 28. The chief point at issue was the cost of the extra four-piece balls.
