Second Quads Doing WeU f.V.Z. Prest Astn.—Copyright) PORTLAND (Oregon), November 18. Quadruplets, all girls, were bom to a 19-year-old Portland woman tonight. United Press International reported. The babies and the mother, Mrs Diane Marie Grenawait, were reported to be doing fine. Mrs Grenawait entered the hospital at 4 p.m. and two doctors delivered the first girl at 7.30 p.m. The others arrived in rapid succession at 7.32. 7.35, and 7.37. The father, Arlin Grenawait, aged 24, is a lathe operator. They have one other child, a 17-month-old boy. The quads were the second set born in the United States this week. Missed Other Four In Baltimore, Mrs Betty Reyes, who gave birth to quadruplets on Monday, left ! hospital without her doctors’ * consent today because she missed her four other children, Reuter reported. I “I got lonesome for my i kids,” 35-year-old Mrs Reyes i said. ! The quads—three girls and ;a boy—remained in hospitaL They will stay “until such time as they are medically able to be discharged.” a 'statement said. The girls are > in excellent condition and the ‘boy in fair condition.
