AUCKLAND, Nov. 9. A black satchel, containing £955 in cash and £4OB in cheques, was taken from the back seat of a van belonging to Good Humour Frozen Foods, Ltd., while it was parked in a street at New Lynn on Sunday evening. The contents of the bag. which also included the company’s official records, were part of the week-end’s takings. The manager of the company (Mr J. Behan) was taking them from the depot to his home. He was absent for 10 minutes.
