Boilermakers’ Dispute Over
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 6. The two months’ pay dispute involving boilermakers and other engineering industry tradesmen in Auckland has been settled by an increase of Jd an hour for tradesmen and id for labourers. At a stop-work meeting of the Boilermakers’ Union today, Mr T. E. Skinner, president of the Federation of Labour, told 400 union members the terms of settlement were agreed at a compulsory conference on Wednesday.
