Cat Rescued

A young married woman. Mrs Beverly Gunn, of Lower Hutt, risked the wrath of thousands of bees to rescue a frightened 10-year-old cat. The terrified animal was crouched under some broad beans, with the black mass of bees swarming in the foliage above it. when Mrs Gunn dashed to the rescue. Without protective covering she thrust aside the stalks, grabbed the cat, and dashed inside. Neither Mrs Gunn nor the cat was harmed.
