Scholarship In Russia Possible

Discussions on the lishment of a scholarship for a New Zealand student to attend a Soviet University have taken place between the N.Z.U.S.S.S.R. Society and its Russian counterpart. The Russian society has indicated that there was a good chance of such a scholarship being established, either for the Soviet university year beginning in September, 1965, or in subsequent years. Persons chosen for the scholarship will have to be between 22 and 40 years of age, and know some Russian. They will also have to pay their fares to the U.S.S.R. While in the Soviet Union the student will receive assistance during the academic year. The New Zealand society would be interested in learning of members interested in such a scholarship.
