If Sir Barton's run can bo timed a little later than It was on Wednesday, he could win the Napier Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double, on the final day of the Napier Park races at Hastings on Saturday. November 5. R. W. Taylor, who won the Melbourne Cup on Polo Prince on Tuesday, is returning home tomorrow and he will be riding at the Napier Park Racing Club’s meeting at Hastings on Saturday. Taylor’s only definite ride so far is Tilly Light in the Napier Handicap. A firm in Australia has sponsored a fortnight's holiday for Taylor and his wife in Honolulu, but the 23-year-old Palmerston North jockey has decided to hold the trip in abeyance in the meantime. Taylor is reported to be considering a permanent offer to ride in Australia.
