Offered on account of the Social Service Council of the Diocese of Christchurch, a section of 31.4 perches, zoned residential B, at 21 Trent street, Avonside, was sold for £1725 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr Ray Simes. A double-unit two-storey house on a section of 27.8 perches, zoned residential B, at 260-262 Worcester street, was sold by private treaty yesterday after being withdrawn from auction by C. E. Jones, Ltd. A bungalow at 596 Worcester street, Linwood, has been sold by private treaty by Binns, Barber and Keenan, Ltd. The property was passed in when offered at auction on Friday.
