Experimental High Schools

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. Approval for six, forms I to VI high schools to be established has been given by the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella). He said approval had been given for the translation of the Maungaturoto, Reporoa, Katikati, Patea, Picton and Tokomairiro (Milton) District Hish Schools. This decision followed the announcement he made earlier this year that the Government would establish,, as a first step, five of these schools in rural areas. Since that announcement the Education Department had been carrying out surveys of possible localities.
