WATCHES WORTH £500 STOLEN

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 23. Watches valued at more than £5OO were stolen from the showrooms of C. F. McCarthy, Ltd., diamond and watch importers, Victoria Arcade, Auckland, last night. The intruders forced the front door to the first-floor showrooms to gain entry and took the watches from display cases.
