Ceylon Threatened By Soap Scarcity

The latest shortage threat in imports-starved Ceylon is soap. Three big soap manufacturers, whose operations keep most of the island supplied, have issued a warning that unless immediate supplies of caustic soda are made available, soap production will cease.
