Flowers From F.B.I. Head
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, October 22. Among many expressions of sympathy received by the Walter Jenkins family was a bouquet of flowers bearing the card of J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the “Washington Post” reported today. Mr Johnson has spoken on the telephone to Mrs Jenkins several times, saying that his heart ached for Jenkins and his family. Mrs Jenkins said it took three friends to answer the telephones the first day after the scandal broke.
