GN Z. Press Assn—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 23. Ministers are not allowed to charge a special fee for weddings where confetti is used, the top law authority of the Church of England ruled yesterday. The authority, the legal board of the Church Assembly, said it was unlawful to demand a deposit returnable if confetti was not used. It was also unlawful to charge extra for church lighting and heating.
But if the bride want* wedding bells, a choir, organ music, flowers, carpets or awnings she will have to pay more.
