CAUGHT UP WITH BOOK

(N.Z. Prtti Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 21. When the German historian, Prince Hubertus Zu Lowenstein visited the head office of the Tourist and Publicity Department yesterday he saw on a desk a copy of his first book “The Tragedy of a Nation.” “I’ve finally caught up with my book—3o years after,” wrote the author on the flyleaf when asked by Mr A. Malcolmson, acting head of the overseas information and publicity section, to autograph it. The book is a critical sociological study of Germany from 1914 to the rise of the Third Reich. Most of the German copies were destroyed under the Reich.
