Beach three for 18) defeated Kaituna 135 (N. Allan 29, D. Turner 56; C. Grigg four for 56, P. Johnson four for 34). Wainui 187 defeated Little River 71. Draw For Shield Tournament (N.Z. Preu Association) WELLINGTON, October 11. The draw for the Haliyburton Johnston Shield tourney to be held in Christchurch during "cricket week,” from December
28, was decided yesterday by the Women's Cricket Council.
The draw is: December 28-29, Auckland v. Otago, Wellington v. Canterbury: December 30-31, Auckland v. Canterbury; January 2 and 4, Auckland v. Wellington. Canterbury v. Otago.
