Term Extended
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 9. Sir John Ormond was reappointed chairman of the Exports and Shipping Council at a meeting of the council today. He said on the formation of the council some months ago that he could accept the office only on a temporary basis, but today he agreed to an extension of this term until April pending the appointment of a permanent chairman. 1
